STUDENTS HELP & ADVICE

If you are worried about something and have a good relationship with your teacher or Head of Centre then the best first step is to speak to them.  If they are not able to help, then they will know who can and can offer you advice on the best steps to take.

If you feel too uncomfortable to do that, then the links here may help or answer some questions that you may have or give you a starting point before you approach someone.

Childline has a free and confidential helpline 0800 1111 and trained advisors there are available to help you on any subject – whatever your worry, the people at Childline will have heard it before and will be able to help.  If you don’t want to talk then there are email addresses, message boards or you can talk to a counsellor online.  Their email address  www.childline.org.uk/Pages/Home.aspx

They cover subjects like bereavement, drugs and alcohol, depression, caring for a family member, bullying, sex and relationships etc.
