Our Learning and Sports Coach Mentors support the learning, achievement and development of pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. They play a key role supporting teachers in and out of the classroom by mentoring young, disaffected people with challenging behaviour. They provide additional support for offsite activities, personal development and sports programmes.

Experience of working with young people who are disadvantaged or who find a mainstream school environment challenging would be advantageous. This may have been in a mentor, teaching assistant, or other support role. You need to be confident and engaging with excellent interpersonal skills, so you can motivate pupils and colleagues. It is also essential that you have good numeracy and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Closing date for applications: Monday 28th January at 3pm.
