MOTOR VEHICLE INSTRUCTOR

Required to start as soon as possible

Salary: Teachers Pay Scales (Qualified or Unqualified), London Fringe + SEN Allowance.

Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Instructor to deliver Level 1 and 2 qualifications to learners at The Slough Pitstop Project.

Haybrook College educates young people aged 11 to 19 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs to ensure they have the best possible educational and personal outcomes. In collaboration with the Slough Pitstop Project, we offer a vocational curriculum of Motor Vehicle, Construction and Catering qualifications to Haybrook College pupils and those from local mainstream and special schools.

You will be teaching a range of qualifications to small groups of 14 – 16 year olds as well as to a post 16 cohort. Experience of successfully managing the learning of pupils with challenging behaviour is essential. Whilst a teaching qualification would be advantageous, it is not an essential requirement. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible or September 2019.
